Posted by: amanda at November 15, 2005 09:24 AMAmanda is obviously showing a cultural bias here. Only in America is the apostrope so limited in its use. In the many cultures, the apostrope is added to words simply for decoration and serves no grammatical purpose.
Maybe they're accent marks?
I'm very encouraged by the promise of Late Night Taco's that don't in'vo'lve d'el taco.
Posted by: cyr at November 15, 2005 12:04 PMI can vouch for their tacos, because that's what I ordered. They offer chicken, ground beef or shreaded beef. I got the shreaded and they were superb. Also, instead of just free chips and salsa, they also bring cornbread and thinly sliced strips of baked plantains.
