According to the Hardball Times Win Shares listings, Pujols nudges out Derrek Lee by one win share (Prince Albert, 38; Lee, 37), and beats Andruw Jones handily (Jones has only a measly (by comparison) 23 win shares; in fact, by win share analysis Andruw isn't even the Braves' MVP, much less the NL's, as both Furcal and Giles have more win shares than Andruw).
Somehow, though, I've got the feeling that Albert's going to be shafted by the writers again, and they'll figure that either Andruw (for his homer crown) or Lee (for having a career year) is more deserving. Stupid writers....
